 Ben Jackson

Ben started his career with one of the Big 4 CPA firms, which is known today as PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Ben earned his Certified Public Accountant certificate and moved to a Fortune 500 company during which he progressed from Financial Analyst to Director of Planning & Analysis for the worldwide operations. Ben has worked with several privately held companies in the roles of President & CEO and/or Chief Financial Officer. Founding TheJacksonGroup in 1995, he has managed his own business consulting practice working closely with privately owned companies in areas of organizational effectiveness, planning, business valuations, sales and marketing as well as all aspects of the financial arena. His experience also includes 20 years of acquisitions and divestitures and business brokerage. In addition, Ben is actively involved in various community activities and served on several Boards of Directors.  Ben is also a Chartered Global Management Accountant.  He holds an undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Louisville and a Masters of Business Administration from Bellarmine University.

 Linda Jackson

Linda McGinity Jackson has over 30 years of experience in corporate management positions in for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. She began her career in Sales and Human Resources at Brown and Williamson Tobacco Corp. — quickly moving to the corporate headquarters to help create the worldwide holding company in the U.S. for BAT Industries (diversified billion-dollar company representing retail, tobacco and paper.) BATUS was headquartered in Louisville with retail and paper headquarters in New York and Wisconsin and company operations throughout the nation. Ms. Jackson served as corporate spokesperson, handled internal and external communications and traveled nationally to promote the organization.

Leaving the retail and tobacco industry, Ms. Jackson joined Jewish Hospital HealthCare Services as their spokesperson to provide diversified public relations and marketing for the holding company and network of health care facilities. In this role, she led the team to promote the world’s first hand transplant, the world’s first totally implantable artificial heart and many other medical firsts. Directing website activities, educational efforts, community marketing programs and physician special events for the organization, Ms. Jackson garnered national and international attention to JHHS as a world-class healthcare organization. As a graduate from the University of Louisville, Ms. Jackson specializes in Media Relations, Public Relations, Communications, Strategic Marketing, Community Relations, Crisis Management, Government Relations, and Special Events Planning.

In 2007, Jackson joined Stites & Harbison in Client Development for 13 years.. A full-service law firm representing clients across the United States and internationally, Stites & Harbison is known as a preeminent firm managing sophisticated transactions, challenging litigation, and complex regulatory matters on a daily basis. Tracing its origins to 1832, Stites & Harbison is one of the oldest law practices in the nation. Ms. Jackson was responsible for all ten offices in five states.

She is a graduate of and both Focus Louisville and Leadership Louisville. She is a former chairman of the Kentucky Derby Museum Gala, Kentucky Derby Festival, past president of Friends of the Waterfront, and was named Business Woman of the Year by River City Business and Professional Women’s Association. Ms. Jackson also supports many civic and professional organizations to include Operation Brightside’s Gallopalooza program and Committee Member for the Belle of Louisville’s Big 100th Birthday Bash in 2014.
